You will also spend a day (5-6 hours) exploring the Ox Mountains. This ride starts on a beautiful forest track, where it will continue along quiet country roads around the quant village of Attymass with fantastic views of the Ox Mountains, lakes and bog-lands on every side. Most important you will be stopping for a picnic beside one of the hidden lakes with your newly acquired equine friend. You will enjoy hot tea/coffee and sandwiches and scones. Once you are full and warm it will be off again to enjoy further breath-taking views of countryside, mountains, lakes and rivers.
